Renè Reimann is Director of the Quantum Communication division of the Quantum Research Centre, Technology Innovation Institute. He received his PhD in Physics from the University of Bonn in Germany. He was Senior Scientific Assistant in the group of Lukas Novotny at the Photonics Laboratory at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. His love for quantum optics and levitated particles is the common theme of his scientific work. Dr. Reimann is recipient of several grants, including the Emmy Noether Fellowship of the German Research Foundation.
