Mark Edwards is Fuller E. Callaway Chair of Physics at Georgia Southern University. He received his PhD in Theoretical Physical from the Johns Hopkins University in 1985 where he was a student of Lloyd Armstrong, Jr. Prof. Edwards is a long term collaborator of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Prof. Edwards has worked in the field of ultra cold quantum gases. He was named a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
