Alexander L. Fetter is Professor Emeritus of Physics and Applied Physics at Stanford University in California. He received his Ph.D from Harvard University. His research interests include Bose-Einstein condensation and superconductivity. He is recipient of the Scott Prize in physics and Achievements in Teaching award. Prof. Fetter is coauthor of the book ‘Quantum theory of many-particle systems’, important reference for many generations of physicists.
