Eugene Demler is Professor of Physics at Harvard University. Professor Demler's is a leading theoretical physicist investigating strongly correlated quantum many-body systems. Along his career, he addressed diverse problems in the field, ranging from of high temperature supercondunductivity and heavy fermions to quantum Hall systems, and quantum antiferromagnets and, as well, from mesoscopic physics to quantum phase transitions, and Bose-Einstein condensation of alkali atoms. Prof. Demler is Elected Fellow of the American Physical Society, recipient of the National Science Foundation Career Award and Siemens Research Award.
