Maxim Olshanii is Professor of Physics, College of Science and Mathematics, University of Massachusetts at Boston. He has done M.S. Physics, Institute of Engineering Physics, Moscow, 1986; Ph.D. Physics, Institute of Spectroscopy, Moscow, 1992. The theme of Maxim Olshanii's research is the correlation properties of short-range-interacting quantum gases. Specific focus of his research is on Integrable Many-Body Systems, Platonic Solids, Solitons and Quantum Coherence. He is recipient of the Office of Naval Research grant and he is Fellow of the American Physical Society.
